JEWELRY CARE

Care for Your Goldie Aura

Your jewelry deserves thoughtful care.

To help preserve the beauty of your Goldie Aura Co. pieces, we recommend keeping jewelry away from perfumes, lotions, hairspray, household chemicals, and excessive moisture.

Remove jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping.

After wearing, gently wipe your jewelry with a clean, soft cloth and store pieces separately in a dry jewelry pouch or box.

Solid Gold

Solid gold is durable and resistant to tarnishing, making it suitable for long-term wear. Clean gently with mild soap and warm water, then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.

Avoid harsh chemicals and chlorine.

Sterling Silver / S925

Sterling silver may naturally oxidize and darken over time. This is a normal characteristic of genuine silver.

Use a silver polishing cloth to restore its shine and store your jewelry in a dry, airtight container when not being worn.

Gold-Filled Jewelry

Gold-filled jewelry features a substantial layer of real gold bonded to a base metal and can maintain its beauty for years with proper care.

Avoid prolonged exposure to chemicals, perfumes, lotions, and chlorine.

Gold-Plated Jewelry

Gold-plated jewelry requires gentle care to preserve its finish.

Avoid water, sweat, perfume, lotions, and harsh chemicals whenever possible. Gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth after wearing.

Stainless Steel

Stainless steel is highly durable and resistant to tarnishing and corrosion.

Clean using mild soap and warm water and dry thoroughly.

Brass, Copper & Alloy Jewelry

These metals may naturally change color or develop a patina over time.

Keep jewelry dry and away from chemicals, perfumes, and lotions. Store separately in a dry place when not in use.

Natural Crystals & Gemstones

Natural gemstones deserve special care.

Avoid impacts, drops, harsh chemicals, prolonged water exposure, and extreme temperatures. Some gemstones may also be sensitive to prolonged sunlight.

We recommend gently cleaning natural stones with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth.

Because gemstones vary in hardness and composition, not every stone is suitable for ultrasonic or steam cleaning.

Pearls

Pearls are delicate and should be treated with extra care.

Avoid direct contact with perfume, hairspray, cosmetics, and chemicals. Gently wipe pearls after wearing and store them separately from harder gemstones and metals to prevent scratching.
